Project Involvement

I designed and developed interactive e-learning modules for Mainframe systems, transforming complex technical content into engaging, accessible digital experiences..

Each module combined clean, intuitive interface design with interactive learning components, built using Adobe Animate and the company’s proprietary authoring software. I created custom illustrations, animations, and motion graphics across Illustrator, Photoshop, Animate, and After Effects, and edited instructional videos in Premiere Pro to maintain visual consistency and enhance learner engagement.

My responsibilities also included testing and quality assurance within the company’s Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring every module performed seamlessly across platforms. Collaborating closely with subject-matter experts (SME’s) and instructional designers, I helped translate technical concepts into visually rich, user-focused learning experiences that aligned with organisational goals and adult learning principles.

Instructional Video Design

To support mainframe education, I was tasked with creating animated intros, outros, and instructional graphics for a series of training videos. These animations served to strengthen brand identity while maintaining learner engagement throughout the instructional content.

The creative process began with sourcing relevant and visually engaging footage through Adobe Stock, focusing on material that reflected the technological and educational nature of mainframe learning. I developed multiple design variations, experimenting with different video sequences and logo animation styles to achieve the right visual tone and pacing for both intro and outro segments.

All animations, transitions, and edits were produced in Adobe After Effects, where I explored motion timing, composition, and type animation to create polished, professional video assets. Below are a selection of my intro and outro design trials, showcasing the range of approaches considered during development.

Training Modules

Working from detailed storyboards, I created a range of multimedia elements, including infographics, icons, animations, and interactive components, that supported the learning objectives and enhanced knowledge retention. Each module was built using Adobe Animate and the company’s proprietary e-learning authoring system, allowing for modular design and consistent user interaction.

All vector-based graphics, icons, and animations were created in Adobe Animate, while Photoshop was used for image retouching and interface design. I produced motion graphics and video sequences in After Effects and Premiere Pro, ensuring a cohesive visual style across every piece of learning content.

Featured here, is the Rexx Module that I built.
